Win more government work.
Pay when you win.
We write complete, panel-scored tender responses for Australian construction SMEs. You pay a fixed submission fee, and a success fee only if the contract is awarded to you.
Get a free compliance matrixHow it works
AUD 490 per submission + 1.5% of the contract value, only if you win
The success fee has a minimum of AUD 2,500 and drops to 1.0% on contract value above AUD 5m. Where a tender prohibits contingent fees, the success fee does not apply and the whole engagement is a flat AUD 1,450.
- Send us the tender link. Within 48 hours you get a compliance matrix and evidence checklist. Free, no obligation, no payment details required.
- Send your evidence — past projects, insurances, licences, key people. We write the full response, scored against the published evaluation criteria, and a person reviews every page.
- Draft in 72 hours. You review, sign and lodge it yourself. You remain the bidder throughout.
- Awarded? We invoice 1.5% of the contract value, minimum AUD 2,500, reduced to 1.0% on value above AUD 5m. Not awarded? You owe nothing beyond the AUD 490.
No retainers. No hourly rates. No lock-in.
Quantity takeoffs
AUD 390 per house up to 250 m² · your first one is free
Send the plans as a PDF. Within 24 hours you get an editable measured quantity schedule, ready for Excel or Buildxact: slab and floor areas, external and internal wall lengths, roof area, room-by-room areas. Every figure is read off the dimension strings on your own drawings and cross-checked against a second dimension line. If a measured length or area is out by more than 5%, we correct it at no charge.
Openings are counted only if your set includes a window and door schedule. At development application stage that information is usually not on the drawings yet, and we will not invent it — we mark those items as open instead.
What this costs you either way
| Scenario | You pay | You do |
|---|---|---|
| You ask for the matrix and stop there | Nothing | Send a link |
| We write the bid, you lose | AUD 490 | Send evidence, review, lodge |
| We write the bid, you win a $250k contract | AUD 490 + AUD 3,750 | Deliver the work |
| We write the bid, you win a $1.2m contract | AUD 490 + AUD 18,000 | Deliver the work |
The success fee is invoiced after the award is confirmed, on 30 day terms, with a minimum of AUD 2,500.
Why this model
Industry sources put the effort for a standard Australian government RFT at roughly 40 to 80 hours of owner and estimator time, with average SME win rates around one in five, and lower for first-time tenderers. Those are estimates published by firms in this market rather than primary research, so treat them as indicative. The point stands either way: most of that effort is spent on bids that do not convert.
Charging mainly on the win moves that risk off your side of the table. It also means we decline tenders we do not think you can win — a fixed-fee writer has no reason to do that.
What we do not do
- We do not contact the procuring entity on your behalf, and we do not lobby. You are the bidder and the sole point of contact.
- We do not guarantee an award. Nobody honestly can.
- We do not give legal or procurement-law advice. Our matrix is an assessment, not advice.
- We do not invent past projects, referees or capability. Everything in your response comes from evidence you supply.
Questions we get asked
Do I have to disclose that a third party wrote the response?
Where a tender asks who prepared the submission, say so — we will give you the wording. Success-fee arrangements are unusual in this market and some buyers ask about them, so we set ours out in writing for you to disclose if required.
Do you use AI?
Yes, for drafting and for checking responses against the evaluation criteria. Every submission is reviewed by a person before it reaches you, and we disclose AI assistance wherever a tender asks about it.
What happens to my documents?
They are stored in Australia, used only for your bid, never shared with another bidder, and deleted on request.
Who else are you writing for?
We will not write competing responses to the same tender. First to engage on a given tender has it.
Are you new?
Yes. That is exactly why the compliance matrix is free and why most of our fee sits on the win rather than on your invoice. You can judge the work before you pay for it.
